That was probably the most inept performance I have ever seen from a senior government minister, let alone a 'Secretary of State,' even by the standards of this 'government.' It does, however, perhaps explain why someone like David Lammy is regarded as an intellectual giant. Just look at the competition.

  3. Be fair. Steve, when asked about Energy costs, could simply have said 'I really don't know. It doesn't much bother me, as I claim all mine back through expenses.' Sorry, my mistake. To all intents and purposes, that was what he was saying.
