Absolutely agree with you @therock343 . I'm fascinated with American politics and I've reached the same conclusion.

@RoyalRetrograde how? How tax breaks for rich, help the poor?
1
@ooDirtyMickoo so why is he talking about elitists as he is not one of them, on his show?
1
@ooDirtyMickoo no, even me, as a person that doesn't live in US, I have observed that he uses that sensation of "man of working people" quite a lot when it suits his narratives. Before this clip, I never knew he was from a wealthy family, simply because whenever he criticises elitism, he never actually disclaims his own privileged upbringing, he always talks as someone that comes from the same perspective as a working person. He is just reselling the "American dream" utopia. Why do you think that for his show he chosen to shorten and exclude the part of his name that shows his actual origins? (Or should I say oranges? :)))) )

@greatdude7279 carlson tries to debunk his guest statements? Like he did with Rutger Bregman? Oh wait...he didn't even aired that, I wonder why...

@ooDirtyMickoo yeah...I don't disregard his show though, it is part of his choices. And it says nothing that he praised once a fair candidate (and the one that has the least chances to win even among democrats), when most of the time his talking points are quite fitting with republicans agenda of making wealthy people more wealthy while saying that a basic human right (health) is socialism (as something with bad connotation).

@ooDirtyMickoo how can you say it is speculative when in this exact clip you had his own words "on tape", not the nit picking of others from "liberal media" or something but his exact words. Did you listen carefully how he discribed Bill O'Reilly and his show? Doesn't seem pretty much what he is doing on his own show? So how can you call that speculation?
1
@ooDirtyMickoo how so?
1
@ooDirtyMickoo I'm making no claims, I just observe his choices. So then what exactly is the porpoise of his show?
1
@ooDirtyMickoo why wouldn't he want that if it literally pays him? It is in his self interest to keep people uniformed about things benefiting him... so why would I apply the reason of doubt when all the evidence point to him being biased not only when it comes to immigration?
1
@ooDirtyMickoo how can I say it even more simpler... He is a rich guy, he promotes subjective perspective and ideas of the party of the rich... I really don't think his motives are that mysterious. And trust me, Vox didn't convince me of this, this is not my first source, so that I can come up with this opinion.
