I agree with everything you've said about political correctness and about people being offended by almost anything this days...but I just cannot agree with the fact that eating meat is harmless. Maybe it is for people (on the sort run), but not for the animals that have similar cognitive processes as ours and that are killed and exploited for human taste buds, while "helping" to destroy our only livable habitat that we know so far (meat industry is the third cause for climate change). Eating meat doesn't offend me, I see it just as one of the most stupidest way people kill themselves giving the fact that all the major diseases that humans have are linked to animal product consumption. So yeah...so far it's a human right to exploit and kill animals just for fun I guess, but it shouldn't be and it has nothing to do with my feelings.
