  5. I think time does exist as a dimension, it’s not an illusion. Space/Time is where and when energy and matter exist. I really think we should see it as having properties different to the way we think of quantum and energy. I am not sure that space and time have properties that can be measured in the classical way. We have to map onto them, to make a relativity.

  7. Actually I have read the abstract. It is seriously good and very interesting. I think it is a valuable contribution to our understanding of smell in societies. Not a good example of useless PhD theses. Just her reading list is mind-opening

  11. At 71 I took the Baron-Cohen test and joined the club. I had already been diagnosed with ADD 30 years before. Women have been under diagnosed anyway, but I think we are finding out that it is a lot more common than anyone imagined. The more you look for it the more you find it. If you have met someone with ASD you have met one person with ASD. Each one has their own unique combination of symptoms. Dr Iain McGilchrist has many videos on Youtube.He is a deeply learned psychiatrist and expert on brain structures. His hypothesis is that ASD is caused by miswiring across the corpus callosum so that people have poor access to right brain functions.
