  1. At 71 I took the Baron-Cohen test and joined the club. I had already been diagnosed with ADD 30 years before. Women have been under diagnosed anyway, but I think we are finding out that it is a lot more common than anyone imagined. The more you look for it the more you find it. If you have met someone with ASD you have met one person with ASD. Each one has their own unique combination of symptoms. Dr Iain McGilchrist has many videos on Youtube.He is a deeply learned psychiatrist and expert on brain structures. His hypothesis is that ASD is caused by miswiring across the corpus callosum so that people have poor access to right brain functions.
