@admiralbenbow5083 not so. Most of history the rich and powerful fought for kingship. Nobody elected them. The Russian revolution was imposed on the majority of the population. The emperors’ secret service had controlled them for centuries and Lenin and co. Took over from there. The rich have too much power in governments even now. You could check out Peter Turchin.
