  1. The contract came to an end. Everyone affected got 2 years notice. Everyone else has the replacement gas they needed. Transnistria was getting free gas from Russia. Moldova has offered alternatives which have all been refused. Slovakia is also having hissy fits over the gas, they have been offered alternatives which they refused, including Ukraine offering to pay the extra cost for a while. So now you see how the cases are very different. I hope this encourages you look more deeply into what’s going on.
