  1. I read one of Doestoyevsky's books and it was agonizing. I literally writhed in pain as well as feeling very upset. It so real and so horrifying. Its the one about the people who in a country town and they think they are so clever and intellectual and then the other people in the town who are rather trod upon and brutal. It must be the Idiot. He is a genius because he can bring all that to life in your head! And perhaps we all need a dose of the depths to keep us honest.
