When I was pregnant,my friend dropped out of my life... she came back a year later. Turned out, she'd been raped by a stalker (her boss's kid) and had an abortion, alone. My heart broke for her...I would have waddled in to hold her hand the whole time. I would have yelled at protesters that I was there for prenatal stuff. She said she didn't want to put me in conflicted state. I asked the questions that I have thought I'd ask myself. Do you want this pregnancy? Would you give a child to this partner (so gross in this circumstance )? Could you carry to term and adopt out? Either open or colsed? I also told her that I could imagine how difficult it would be to work with the public and answer, well meant, but intrusive questions. I had received more attention than I expected. My mom also almost died from a pre Roe abortion...so I am of the belief that it needs to be available, safe and between the patient and the doctors. @JohnPreston888 on and off, right now is off. No conflict, busy lives, and she moves a lot. It's been almost 30years. Whenever I think of her, it's hoping she's in a good place.
