There is a vaccine against bubonic plague. In the late 1960’s to early 1970’s, a boy was playing in an abandoned, old cabin, by a rat, near the town of Pilot Rock, Oregon. USA, and he contracted bubonic plague, but the were able to give him injections to cure it. Same type of scenario: within tge last twenty years, near LaPine, Oregon, USA. A man notices his cat had something stuck between it’s teeth. He extracts the bone, is scratched, and contracts bubonic plague. He, too, was saved. Pilot Rock os near Pendleton, Oregon, LaPine, near Bend, Oregon
