  2. It sure as hell sounds like they just changed the one chord, tempo, key, everything the same, and the one chord has little effect. Plus, there is a time period of a few short years. Aside from that issue, music is so derivative, especially rock. And there is “word of mind” as i call it, where for some reason, cultural influences, similar circumstances, or group mind, similar ideas, concepts, arts, songs seem to spring up in different places. In this case, the time gap of a few years calls word of mind into question for me, and somewhat reinforces the idea that these are really the same song. Great work!
