@joelcornelius7918 Apparently, those Christians did not appreciate it, so you are making a false statement. The nuns running the school expressed their displeasure, the man who invited him to give the address as well, and a great many of the students graduating or or simply attending have come out expressing their dismay, and a feeling of being attacked. Better pull your head out, clean your eyes and look at the whole truth, rather than just that part that you approve of. I have read numerous statements from those i referred to, who were quite unhappy and felt violated and attacked by his opinion, which while supposedly Christian, was all about being judgmental. You know what Jesus said about that. I just find the hypocrisy of someone passing judgement upon others, while professing to be Christian, to be one of the things that Jesus Himself felt offensive. “Judge not, lest ye be judged”, a comment made about people condemning an unmarried woman, that they considered immoral, his distaste flr the holier than thou religious hypocrisy of the Pharisees, his parable of the Good Samaritan caring for another person, while the self righteous ignored someone in need of help, and as for militant christianity as a temporal political power, “My Kingdom is not of this earth.” There are many more examples. Somehow, those who make a big show of their own righteousness, and tell others how they should behave in their lives for religious reasons, always ignore those very important statements of Jesus. It happens in other religious also, and it frequently is really about the personal discomfort of those telling everyone else how to act. Religious intolerance of others and telling them how to behave is not a true Christian value. As the blues song aptly expresses it, “Fore you accuse me, take a look at yourself”.

Other people who disagree with him have every right to express their opinion as well. In my experience, people who are insecure in their beliefs are the ones who proselytize, those who are secure don’t need to pass judgement upon others, they live their lives as an example of their belief. Next, fox hypocrites, who worship Mammon by gushing lies for big bucks, are not by any means truthful advocates for any belief except the right to take money for lying yo millions of people. And, further, Christian nationalism mocks Jesus, who made his point on making religion the temporal power: “Judge not, lest ye be judged”, the parables of the Eye of the Needle and the Good Samaritan, and made it crystal clear to those who would use religion for temporal power, “My Kingdom is not of this earth.” The irony of the paid liar Fox announcers supposedly defending religion is as hypocritical as a sexual predator, and convicted thief and serial liar being endorsed by big business evangelicals, who are no angels, is absurd, and covered in Jesus’ remarks about the Pharisees

He sats he wants to please Jesus, but he makes a big deal out of judging others. He has a right to his opinions, yet it was not an appropriate time or place to do it, it made him the center of attention, rather than the graduates, very selfish, and judgmental, which points out his hypocrisy in an even stronger manner. Pseudo christian, self righteous hypocrisy. Modern day Pharisee. As a matter of scripture, Jesus made the “judge not” comment while accepting Mary the Magdalene into his inner circle, which reflects upon the stay home and make babies content of the speech as well. Very poor taste, he could have made that speech somewhere far more appropriate. He deserves all the criticism he has gotten and even more for the utter hypocrisy and selfishness he demonstrated.
