  12. If you are going to criticize the media, you did it at a private event, and YOU ARE POLITICIZING THE COURT! You, Clarence Thomas, Alito, and others regularly make political remarks, which definitely raise questions about your impartiality, by following right up after remarks made by tRump and the GOP as to you and other justices being placed upon the court for your political and religious beliefs. Furthermore, when there is political maneuvering by lying mitch mcconnell to make sure the court is stuffed with justices of a particular political persuasion, any and all pretenses of impartiality are destroyed. Shadow dockets, which are being used to make Star Chamber decisions, only reinforce the perception that the court is become not the Supreme Court, but the Supreme Dorks. A court of the privileged, dedicated to preserving those privileges, at the expense of an entire nation. This, combined with decisions allowing voter suppression by states, indeed, laws specifically targeting non whites and non privileged citizens, is quickly advancing the perception that you and others on the court should be called injustices, not justices. The court is clearly actively involved in attempts by fascists to create only one ruling party, and destroy democracy, in the eyes of a large percentage of the citizenry. The responsibility for this lies squarely upon the shoulders of a court which constantly and consistently makes decisions that advance this cause. It is extremely misleading snd disingenuous for members of the court to blame these perceptions upon the press, when their own decisions or lack of them, use of shadow documents, political speeches at private events attended by people of a political persuasion which seeks to control and maintain control over this country , only serve to reinforce and expose the very real possibility that the court is not interested in true democracy, but a rule by elites, in short, fascism. When members of the court involve themselves with the Federalist Society, and other organizations that seek exclusive power and rule, or are appointed because of particular political, classist, or religious beliefs (by either side of the aisle), it becomes increasingly apparent that there most probably is a movement within the court to make decisions upon ideological grounds, justified by a judicial smokescreen. Furthermore, shadow dockets are being misused to make decisions, which effectively limits the ability of dissenting parties to weigh in, thereby creating the impression of a court that wants to make the laws, not examine them. And, by advancing corporate interests over human rights, the court reaffirms the concept of class privilege, which essentially leads to slavery, and, in some cases where the interests of corporations advanced over the basic human rights of employees, hints at the underlying cynical classism that seems to lie at the heart of recent majority decisions. If the court continues upon this path, it risks being completely ignored and looked upon with derision by the citizenry.

  20. Just remember, reducing government size just gives the wealthy and the big companies the ability to get away with paying no taxes, poisoning people with dangerous products, and turning up the heat on the world for money, even though they have known what they are doing is hazardous to all life on this planet, since the 70’s. If you want to pay their share of taxes, go right ahead, i don’t want to. I do agree with the basis of your comment, what we need the most is heavy regulation of those horrible people and companies, and taxation where they pay their fair share, as well as airtight legislation they cannot get around. Every time someone becomes prez that complains sbout big guvmint, we get ripped off, and the deficit goes up higher, while they whine about the deficit. They already have more than they can ever use, they don’t need it, but they don’t want any of we the people to have it, unless we spend it on their stuff. Imagine the dent it would put in the deficit, or the programs to help people and small businesses we could fund, it all we got was the money the SOB’s spend on attorneys, and accountants and lobbyists, in order to not pay their share. Last year, 50 of the wealthiest people in this country and 55 of the wealthiest companies paid no taxes. And, since certain members of the supreme dorks consider money (campaign donations) to be free speech (completely absurd, as under that definition, the more you can afford to spend, the more you get to control what people see snd hear. That allowed the very Russians who are Putin’s buddies to pay a shit ton of cash to a party’s national committee, and get sanctions on them lifted, and don’t forget how McConnell, Graham, tRump and others filled their coffers. Now, there are members of Congress and the Supreme Sociopath praising that killer Putin. Never forget the blood on his hands, former head of USSR Committee for Public Safety, the KGB. Pogo had it right, “We have met the enemy, and they is us.”, or as you would say, and I agree, the people who are supposed to represent us, not themselves, their buddies, moneychangers and killers
