You had better read the New Testament. It’s hero advocates such socialistic ideals like feeding the hungry, healing the sick, housing the poor, and other such “entitlements”. As to your hero(s), Himself did not have a very favorable view of the wealthy, or loan sharks, or self righteous religious hypocrites.
