Oh, yeah, sure. Remember that the GOP had the Russian ambassador, Kislyak (sp?) write their platform on Ukraine. So who is the traitor here? When i was young, Soviet Union was the big enemy. Now, the gangsters run the country, and Putin, once head of the KGB, Russian spy service, wants to bring back the Soviet Union. He has seized part of Georgia, and part of Ukraine, as part of his plan to do so. Now, the GOP, and Cruz, kiss his butt. But not as much as tRump did. Why? Study the Roman Triumvirate. The gangsters and oligarchs in charge each believe themselves ruthless, cunning, and powerful enough to be the sole ruler or rulers of all. So, they cosy up to each other by agreeing to cooperate to rule. Then, the minute the other’s back is turned, the stabbing begins. Ted thinks he is a genius, but Putin ran the nastiest spy agency snd secret police in the world. Ted is way out of his league, as are those in the GOP who think they are so clever. And these are the people claiming to be in the moral high ground, which they maintain that only they own. Yet, they violate democratic principles by denigrating voting rights, gerrymandering, and arranging to keep thousands who don’t agree with them or they fear, from either voting, or putting them into districts where their votes are diluted to the point where they have no representation. That is the very definition of fascism. Fascism reaches its pinnacle in people like Hitler, Mussolini, and many others. If someone has to go to such lengths to control a country, they are involved in destroying our democratic systems. That is sedition. When SCOTUS allowed dark money (legally untraceable in elections) in elections, they opened the way for the Russian imperialistic gangster oligarchs to heavily influence the 2016 election, and worked with the GOP to do so, the only impedance to describing that as treason is whether or not Russia is defined as an enemy. Either way, it is a direct attempt to seize power that erodes and overthrows the principles of Democracy. This also raises severe questions about whether SCOTUS is working to destroy our Democracy. They, too, like the political class are wealthy and privileged, and have a stake in keeping the people down, in order to stay in control, especially economic control. So, they see the duties of the citizenry are consumption, which requires spending money. Meanwhile, they spend their money with those on their economic level or above. Also, when the 50 wealthiest people and 55 wealthiest corporations pay no taxes, that drops the burden of taxes upon the citizenry. So, the money sits at the top, and does not circulate, which basically makes it worthless to the citizenry, except for the small amount that they have. And, they play the taxpayers against the poor, by calling any programs to help the poor entitlements. This is effective, as the citizenry is well aware of how close they are to being poor (“Nobody loves you when you are down and out”). Never make the mistake of thinking the poor and homeless are all lazy, mentally ill, or alcoholics, druggies, thieves, or welfare cheats. If you feel that you are so close to being so far in debt that you can’t survive, then don’t you think that is exactly how so many of them got there? A total disgrace, the wealthiest country in the world with a massive homeless population is disgusting. As for the classic political line, “ I am a God fearing Christian (fill in the blank - ex cop, decorated veteran, etc), running against a Godless Socialist, that is what we on the ranch call a crock of BS, from someone sho apparently has no respect for the New Testament and the teachings of Christ. He regularly railed against the rich (“eye of the needle” and more) called upon all to pay their taxes (yes, the wealthy, too “render unto Caesar”), attacked the moneylenders, and disdained the self-righteous religious hypocrites who held themselves to be holier than thou, while committing so many of the practices he found vile, such as not helping others (“the good Samaritan”). And yet, we have those politicians, SCOTUS (in)justices, and preachers (the Evangelical hierarchy is a great example of those getting filthy rich: private planes, huge homes, locking people in need out of their massive monuments, not to God, but of their own egos, and the Evangenitals, like the folks at “ Taking” Libert(ies) University. Jesus was not wealthy, and his principles involved helping others. He performed miracles of feeding the poor, helping the unfortunate, and more. You want to talk about taking God’s name in vain? It is taking more than you can ever use, so that others must struggle to survive (there is not an infinite supply of money or possessions), it is not paying your share, it is pushing addictive drugs that kill people on a massive corporate level, and paying civil fines, rather than being held criminally responsible, and so much more. Finally, it is no surprise that publications that glorify wealth, such as Forbes and the Wall Street Journal, seek to elevate the haves even higher, and willfully propagandize people like Ted, tRump, and the privileged who could care less about you, in their never ending quest for more. If you are stupid enough to believe that a society where such an overwhelming amount of wealth is held by so few, and that they should not pay their fair share, so you have to pay yours and theirs, and you think that having those people pony up their share is Socialism, then you deserve to pay everyone’s share. What is going on is a direct attack by the privileged on Democracy, and on Christianity. If that’s what you want, then move to Russia! Love it or lose it!
