Restrained. He was stopped from entering his own pub. Ridiculous.

I notice how authorities have kept quite about how ill it may make people since SA Doctors said it's only mild at least at the moment. If that is the case it doesn't really matter how many people get it or who gets it.

Apparently those who got coronavirus first in Germany were mainly young people who came back from skiing trips in Italy. Says so on Sky News website. That helped Germany. Good on those young people maybe they kept away from older people straight off the bat.

Trump says he has much to share over coming months. Interesting times. Some want him to fade into the sunset. I don't think that's going to happen.
157
@MattB-st6ky Ah so now landlords have a dress code and a certain look. I see.
128
I know how Prince William feels Grandfather can be very special to a Grandson. I still miss mine and it's years... later.

This pledge is a clever move. It's not NATO. But if Sweden or Finland ever want any kind of help the UK will assist. The ball goes back into Putins court. Because no matter what. Putin knows that nothing at all changes in terms of if he threatens or thinks about attacking the UK. NATO remain one in all in as always.

BOOM see u later WHO.

Get Sky News Australia to interview some of these China officials that I'd watch. They'll do it properly.
81
Lol Boris. Anyone see that coming. Maybe he was due the job in the next reshuffle anyway.
69
Now he's the Worlds greatest and best economic expert. :D

I wish I had updates like this when flu is about. It would be very handy. I think flu needs to be followed with a fine tooth comb also.
55
Far more men die of covid than women. I demand the authorities recommend I can stay indoors sat on my backside until 2021.
53
People need to ask themselves. If there is anyone from a 100 years plus ago who DIDN'T have any what would now be seen as controversial elements about them. Why are most of the Left so incredibly thick.

This pledge is a clever move from all sides. It's not NATO. But if Sweden or Finland ever want any kind of help the UK will assist. The ball goes back into Putins court. Because no matter what. Putin knows that nothing at all changes in terms of if he threatens or thinks about attacking the UK. NATO remain one in all in as always.

Currently 26.3% down on the 7 day rolling average. That's pretty fast in the grand scheme of these things. The guy clearly has no clue.
45
There's never been anyone any PM who's every single move is a wrong one. It's crazy.
43
That's it Sadiq there is no limit to how many people we can welcome. There are no limits to how many roofs there are available to put over peoples heads. There is no limit known to man that our services can't cope with. We do have money trees. It's alright for Sadiq. If we had limitless numbers. He'd moan again when there was nowhere for many of them to go. The man is utter fool!
40
SN once again over-egging the pudding big time. And not reporting facts again. Wonders will never cease.
40
When will they reveal the real numbers regarding deaths.
38
GPs should be well rested. I'm pretty sure they used to work harder a few years ago. Than they have in the last around 2 years. Also modelling is saying this.. What??
36
Not interested in Meghan and Harry. God Bless Her Majesty The Queen. RIP Duke

800K cases of colds a day. All depends how close Omicron is to a cold. By recent studies it's became a decent amount closer at least. Point comes where cases don't matter at all. It's close to that now I suspect. All the data we get is a little bit behind. Things take time to even out. Even more so over the Christmas period. Deducing trends accurately is more difficult than usual.
28
I could win the lottery tonight. That's about as likely as a SAGE model turning out to be accurate.
27
Boris has a strange family. Who needs enemies, hey. The comment he made about getting Brexit done is the best way to honour Jo Cox, has been taken out of context. The full detail is that he said, maybe when Brexit is over the line general tensions will calm down. And things would move on.
25
Sky News. Do a deaths per capita comparison. Per million. And then tell us who is the worst in Europe.
23
That guy something very strange about him imo. Do not trust him at all.
23
How's Policing doing up in Manchester, Andy? :D He got off very light there. Thanks to all the extremely bias media in this Country.
20
Philip helped design the Land Drover. Legend.

How many people have actually been killed by covid? Not died with it... Imagine someone in Hospital already really ill with something else, or even someone in a care home under a palliative care program. Who then contracts covid, and who goes onto to shortly die. It's likely covid did not kill them, the other thing or issues did. Covid just happened to be within their bodies at that time.
18
So many permutations and caveats come into play here when doing these graphs. It will be a long time before it can be said who has done 'good' and who hasn't so much.
18
EU "leader" isn't a leader of a Sovereign Country of course. Respect to her for going. But Boris the UK leader is by far the most well-known and prominent leader to go so far.
17
Indeed things now are these last 7 weeks have shown us that.
17
Numbers aren't as dramatic as they can appear. Doing some calculations. Last 7 days number of positives and the last 7 days number of tests. Results are around 81% were negative.
17
Why are we different Sadiq. Salsibury springs to mind. Boris speaking to the Russian people in Russian also springs to mind. Putin won't be happy about that kind of thing. We have to be more careful than most. The guy is a fool imo.
17
53,000 cases out of 1.1 million tests yesterday. That was a higher day sure. It will keep on fluctuating. That's how it works. But swap that figure around though. 1,047,000 negative people in all those.
16
I thought Beth was interviewing a serial killer for a minute there. That aggression. lol There was another one like that as well. Funny stuff to see.
16
He can have an honor if he declares how much of his humongous wealth he's personally given to help the poor...
16
So let's get this right Cummings the rule breaker claims this. The man who was probably at most if not all these "parties". The man who probably arranged some. The man who if he had any integrity would have told the news the public about these "parties". A long time ago. At the time. Essentially he's very bitter. Because he was told to leave his job. Because he was found out to have slagged off Boris Mrs.
16
The biggest mountain out of a molehill scenario in history.
16
This has come up several times now. No media will cover it though of course. People like Sky News would rather just bash the UK Government.
15
It' been in East London before. SA variant has been in the UK for quite a while now. Overall numbers of cases has kept relatively low. With minimal community spread. Once again right now. There is "Nothing to see here".
15
1 in 45 in Wales. What now? It's the same as last week isn't it. And many weeks during 2025 it will still be the same.
14
Sky News can see into the future so clearly. Wow!
14
He speaks with passion that can't be denied. Talks a good game. However Mayor is an easy job in comparison to being a Westminster MP or even more so a Minister... It also seems as if most if not all Mayors pull the Sturgeon trick. If something good occurs in your area take credit. If something bad is happening blame Westminster entirely.
14
He 'may' have. Plenty of people 'may' have and actually have in the past few weeks. People on beaches and in parks. The Police do nothing about most of those. What about the 3 or 4 Labour MPs who have seemingly definitely broke rules. Have they been investigated?
14
Is it June already fgs. There will be more to come on this. So many idiots around.
14
Pandemic happened. Who do you look after first and foremost your own family. In Government terms that means the Country you Govern.
14
Thems the rules now for deaths basically all over the World. Before that in the UK they were ridiculous. Someone who caught covid had a positive test. Recovered. But died months later of something else used to still be counted as a covid death. 28 day's doesn't apply to vaccines though. As no death has been proven to be caused by a vaccine as of yet.
14
The most interesting thing I've seen of late is what the BBCs Health Correspondent Triggle wrote on their website last night within an article.. He's the best person on there in my view. Talks more general sense than anyone else on there. He was saying during this third wave deaths MAY get up to 100 to 200 daily. And added as a comparison deaths from flu during 2017/18 season were happening at 300 to 400 a day. Now what I say to that. No one tells us these figures in the public domain at the time we are non the wiser. They aren't reported. No one is obviously crying out that we lockdown, wear masks etc Many people have lost all perspective when it comes to covid19.
