That's not how it happened. Central Government never said mix them. No minister said that. Number 10 didn't say that. PHE said it. They said they can be mixed. But the media exaggerated that to they can be mixed all the time. PHE said they can be mixed on specific/rare occasions.They are still saying this.

@Scott WHO used to love recommending lockdowns for a long time. Then they changed that not so long ago. Ultimately no one really seems to know what's best. People are split everywhere. Many experts have very differing opinions.

@Scott It's not only here. Where lockdowns still occur. Look at Europe. Why aren't they following WHO recommendations these days. And how did WHO get it wrong for so long about lockdowns. Maybe because of that several Countries think they were wrong to change their advice after all that time. Tier systems are more common than lockdowns here in the UK these days. Especially in England. Ultimately imo a big problem that has become worse and worse throughout this pandemic. Is the sheer amount of differing views and opinions we hear, day in, day out. We hear too many varying opinions and views. Coming at us from all angles. That's a mindfuck. It creates it's own problems. Too much info, too much varying info comes our way. From too many different people and sources.

That's what PHE are^ Stop saying it's Government this, Government that all the time. It's not helpful. Report facts more often. Question the logic of PHE directly. I'm shocked that much of the media don't know how PHE works. Or may be it just doesn't suit agendas.
