MJ..the new Bimmer is an improvement over the current model, but I wouldn't say it looks any more premium than this G70. Only the price is premium.

@redzoom7857 Yes, true it's my opinion. And it's not that I don't like the 3 Series. I do. But having spent a little time in both of them, the BMW does not feel any more premium than the G70. Design wise, the G70 is at least as good. "The average person" is swayed by the badge on the front and not so much by the car itself. In my opinion, both are great cars, but the Genesis gives you far more for your buck.

Gas prices may never go back that high. There's such a global glut of oil, it could take decades to reduce. Most other developed countries already pay much higher gas prices than the US. So we still have to consider efficiency, and therefore still get great sedans.

@redzoom7857 I was referring to the current gen 3 series. However the new one is not any better quality, but just a more modern take. And in fact, average people can NOT tell the difference unless they see the badge. Numerous studies have been done that prove this. Car lovers; maybe. Average people: nope.

If I were you, and could wait just a little, I'd consider the all new G80 that coming out this year. It's a quantum leap better than the current car.

@Idontlikethatshit. It figures to be out this summer here in Korea. Then you can at least see if it's worth waiting for. But I really think it will be! Cheers!

@saltie.7783 I'm not saying I don't like Lexus. I really do. But Lexus has never felt like they were going after the Germans directly. They've always viewed luxury just a little differently. This G70 is a punch in the mouth for the Germans. They did "German" sport sedan better than the Germans did! It entices a slightly different customer than Lexus.
