  1. The Kia and the Hyundai are virtually identical in terms of specs. Doesn't matter which one you choose; it's better than this Toyota.

  2.  @b.p.r.  Still, that's a really long wait. The EV6 GT will debut here in Korea by the end of this year. But as I understand, they've already sold all their pre order available cars. :(

  5. But they are press cars and take a great deal of abuse. It should also be pointed out that there's already a recall on the Toyota because the tires are flying off them! Pretty easy win for the Kia.

  6.  @iwantedtosavetheworld7358  Well, Kia ranks higher than Toyota for both reliability and IQS this year. Whether you accept that or not is up to you. The point is, Kia makes good cars these days. You're right though. Kia should take better care of their press fleet. I think you're also right about the earlier model Toyotas. Put together a bit better than current models.

  8.  @UProductions457  Ok. After checking the base models, there wasn't much to distinguish the two vehicles. Even the price was right on top of each other. So, I'd say you're right; the base model represents the best version of the Toyota?! I still feel that the Kia is the better vehicle in that it's rwd and charges significantly faster than the Toyota.

  13. Sadly, the Toyota is literally worse in every way. Very sad considering how late they were to the market with this thing. Toyota could've done so much more.

  14. That's what they want you to think! But none of the things that make Toyotas reliable are factors on this electric car. Level playing field.

  15.  @cdion78  Yes, that's a reasonable premise. But there's no reason to think this Toyota ev is any better in build quality than the Kia. And the Kia is just better in every way that's important to an ev buyer.
