  1.  @JDubbs07  That's right. Here in Korea, we aren't getting the Telluride. They are about to reveal the all new Mohave, which will be a body on frame. Interesting.

  2.  @sunha2133  Yes, they certainly were. There's some significant differences today though. First, the Borrego was not a very fresh or modern vehicle, even new. Second, it was introduced to the US at a time when people were burning their large SUV's because of gas prices. The climate is right for this new Kia. It should do very well.

  4. blessindia1.....It's an 8 speed torque converter that is found in many HMG products. It's very good.

  5. Too bad they didn't give you an upper trim to review. That has more features and feels almost luxurious in its' trimmings. Another quirk you didn't mention is that this engine runs on the Atkinson cycle and will likely be quite efficient.

  6. Zlim Shadi...We have the same issues here in Korea. Some roads and parking make it impractical to drive something this size.

  8. Carlov3r....Apples and oranges man. Borrego was a body on frame that wasn't really modern even new. And it was introduced in the US at a time people were lighting their Escalades on fire because of high gas prices. Kia has evolved a lot in the last ten years and the US can't get enough SUV's. This should be good for Kia.

  10. @—TheManInDboX — I understand your feelings. I guess what I mean is that you can get a really nice handling car with features that were reserved for luxury cars not that long ago. For example, I love that my little i30N Line has power heated and ventilated seats. I love my heated steering wheel. The fully independent suspension is excellent. There's too many to mention, but my point is, you don't have to buy a big car to get big car features these days. That definitely wasn't true in the past.

  11. Rohan...The Mazda is a great looking vehicle inside and out. But looks are subjective. Reliable?? There are plenty more reliable vehicles in this segment.

  16.  @WooferCooker  Mechanically, it was a good vehicle. Body on frame was so tough! Here in Korea, it came with a 3L V6 diesel that pumped out 430 ft/lbs torque! But it lacked some of the interior refinement of some of the competition.

  18. Chipotle...Why surprised? It is a much bigger vehicle that hold more stuff and people. Therefore more practical.

  20.  @chipotledenied4124  That is a different category of vehicle. But you're right, it's not just the size. It's overall usable space and space efficiency. Either way, this Kia does very well for itself.

  23. Carter Cook...They still sell that old dinosaur here in Korea! But we are getting an all new Borrego here instead of the Telluride. Should be awesome!
