I will never sleep again! I seem to have noticed many more spiders than usual in my house over the summer months. I would never kill them, but they do get evicted with a glass and a card - if I can catch them. What are French spiders like? I imagine they are more enthusiastic lovers than British arachnids... Nightmare fuel!

@laceyharris5994 Exactly, no need to kill them. Spiders have a purpose - their own, to survive and reproduce, and the wider purposes in the ecosystem, to keep the numbers of flies and insects in check and themselves be predated on by birds etc. It's all a balance and it's wrong to interfere in that. They're harmless to humans. Plus I've always regarded killing them as bad luck!
