  1. Foxes Rock! They are magnificent mammals, and among the most persecuted of animals in so-called 'civilised' England, where this beautiful girl was thankfully rescued and is now safe. Bravo those wonderful people. Fox hunting was outlawed in Scotland in 2002, and 2005 in England and Wales. But it's well known farmers and random thugs still kill foxes for sadistic pleasure. Illegal hunting and digging out fox dens killing parents and cubs still happens in the UK, and so-called 'pest' foxes are frequently shot. The League Against Cruel Sports does important work to publicise these breaches of animal welfare law, and push for prosecution of the guilty. Foxes do not however have protection under the law, as they should.
