Shut TF up Karen Hughes, many people around the world have shed tears for Heidi. You don't have to have met this 33 year old Mom to feel pain at the cruel and tragic ending of her life. She has a six year old son and a new born daughter who need her - that a person/persons decided to take her life is utterly sickening, and heart breaking to anyone with an ounce of humanity!

The same daddy who has a long history of drunken domestic abuse against Heidi? Oh yeah, give the baby to him he's the perfect responsible adult to raise a new born!

@amelialouisa8541 Seems a little odd that Shane has completely vanished from sight since Heidi's body was found, and also strange that the baby hasn't been returned to him yet. Plus, no one has yet been charged with her murder, which may suggest cops are still investigating the possibility of an accomplice. However on balance, it may well be the case that his long history of domestic abuse against Heidi is the reason he acted so shifty in media interviews. He knew playing the devoted, loving partner was very hypocritical! He definitely seemed drunk or drugged too. Let's hope for the kids' sakes he gets his act together now and stays clean because the kids lost their devoted Mom and need their dad to step up.

@prouddad4391 This would appear to be a premeditated kidnapping and murder by a childless woman who wanted a baby. That was seemingly the motive. Such cases are very rare - the vast majority of all homicides are carried out by men, and women are usually killed by a current or former partner. Latest reports suggest there is CCTV showing Heidi 'willingly' getting into the suspect's, an old friend's' car with the baby. Rumours are now circulating that the kidnapper gave Heidi a Starbucks coffee that was heavily drugged with opioids. This would of course have made her much easier to overpower and strangle. It's also been said that the suspect's live-in boyfriend was away on business that week, and that is why police did not hold him as a suspect.

Shut up fool, the cops are making sure she acted alone, and they can prove it, before they charge her, because it's extremely rare for a woman to murder another woman.

@karenhughes7418 It's petty, pedantic and unfair of you to take her comment so literally. Can't we agree this case has upset a lot of people, and leave it at that? There's a terrible tragedy at the heart of this - that's what we should focus on, not petty point scoring and bitching about how often someone shed tears for a murdered mom of two!

@David DeVito Young, healthy women who gave birth 2 weeks previously are not usually murdered, thank God. Yes, death happens - but shouldn't happen like this. Decent people are rightly angry and upset for this woman and the two children she loved, who will never know their mother. It's called empathy - you should try it sometime!

Shane Carey has a long history of domestic abuse, and made Heidi's life a misery for years, before her tragic murder aged 33. Why should anyone apologise to him? I just hope he gets his act together, stops drinking and tries to be a better parent now his kids have lost their devoted Mom. Poor Heidi deserved so much better than him!

Stop making stuff up, the big question here is about a possible accomplice, because it's rare for a woman to strangle another woman to death, unaided. That's the big question - and the one cops must be certain about before they bring charges. If it's true that Maygen's live-in boyfriend Christopher Green is not in custody (and has never been held) I want to know why. Did he really sleep with her, and not realise her pregnancy belly was made of foam??? Did he seriously believe her when she appeared with a 3 week old baby and said she gave birth to it??? So many questions here!

Yes, this is a rare case because it's a betrayal that is, in most cases, perpetrated by a male partner or ex partner. In the UK, two women are killed by a man who they have loved and trusted, every single week.

@efilwv1635 Because this particular tragedy is hitting the headlines right now, all around the world. So inevitably people are discussing it, and are hurting for a young mother cruelly murdered. Pretty obvious really. What's your point - that because people don't discuss all the other millions of tragedies simultaneously, their grief for this murdered young mother is insincere? That's just plain dumb.
