  5. The love between a mother and her child is powerful and sacred, across the species. So glad this beautiful Momma found a loving home in which to birth and raise her babies. What a wonderful happy ending that all of them, including that dedicated mother dog, found loving forever homes. SPAY & NEUTER is crucial to ensure every animal born is loved and wanted.

  8. The dog was literally asking Takis 'Take me with you!' and he was asking a man who is an international legend in animal rescue. Animals KNOW! Hitch is such a loving soul, he is now up for adoption I pray he gets a loving, forever home soon.

  11. Takis' many fans remember Fru Frulita very well, she was a beautiful, tiny puppy full of love, who grew into a HUGE girl who now gives her new mum the biggest hugs! That lovely lady returned to Takis Shelter in Crete just last week, and adopted another dog to take home to be a friend for Fru Fru. A wonderful story, and another Takis miracle! Great to see Takis' devoted work for animals on Crete is being recognised by the Dodo Channel, Bravo!

  12. That koala was traumatised after he''d lost his family, that's why he turned to humans for help and companionship, poor little soul. It's not normal to be as passive as that - he's emotionally shut down. 😿😿😿 I'm so glad he happened to cross paths with these lovely, caring people. Good for them taking him to the animal hospital and finding the right vegetation for him to eat on the journey. They saved his life, and ensured he would have better days ahead. They deserve all the love and luck in the world. 🌻🌻🌻

  14. Mouse is a beautiful cat! I love how clever cats are - she knew she needed help with her babies, and she went out and found it. As soon as the lady gave her that first plate of food, Mouse was never leaving - she knew she was home!

  17. I'm so glad to read here that Charlie's foster family decided to keep him. He obviously had a strong bond with that lovely lady. Shout out to SUNSET PARK CAT RESCUE, and all the wonderful people who help vulnerable, feral cats and kittens. They desperately need love and support.

Glad your fur baby recovered from his ordeal, what sickos to deliberately harm a dog. Yes, in the seventies and eighties people didn't take responsibility for neutering their animals. They didn't pick up their poo either, as a kid I was forever coming home with dog muck on my shoes!

  24. Good job Grace! I can't believe that sweet little cat was born seriously disabled like that, and survived on the streets before he was taken in by a rescue. He must be a smart boy who wanted to live. So glad he found the wonderful home, and the love, that he deserved!

  25. She gave baby Elliott what he needed just as much as food and shelter - LOVE. Love is a precious, priceless commodity. And that dog gave love freely, to that desperately needy baby. She cared nothing that he was not another canine - he needed her. If only humans could learn from animals!

Takis has devoted his life to animals, 24-7, 365 days a year. Tell me, what did YOU ever do for animals that qualifies you to attack a great animal advocate like Takis? We already know the answer - Takis does more for animals in a typical day, than you have in your entire, miserable, pointless life! So next time you feel a stab of envy when you see a fantastic, principled and dynamic human being like Takis who is making a difference in the world, don't hate - appreciate!   33. That's adorable! Dogs know exactly who they love - and hate, my sweet girl told me in no uncertain terms who her favourite people were, and which friends she did not approve of. And she was always right about the friends she didn't care for, they generally fell by the wayside soon after!

  36. Huey is such a gentle giant - Bella knew she'd get him to love her right back, from the moment they met! I just love the variety among dogs. Despite the massive size difference between those two, they are both full on DOGS to the soles of their paws, and recognise that kinship in each other. What a lucky couple to have this adorable pair join their family. I so miss my little dog, who I sadly lost to cancer after 13 wonderful years together. One of the greatest joys in life is waking up with your pet dog beside you. It's impossible to start the day in a bad mood, when you wake up beside a dog. Love you forever Dolly-dog. XXX

  37. So would I - i would have put warm blankets, food and water in that hutch outside for them. I feel sorry for that poor Mama possum - she thought she had found a safe place to shelter with her new family in that closet, and then they were all evicted and made homeless. So sad!

We lack their capacity for unconditional love. Humanity will ultimately destroy itself, of that I have no doubt. And it matters not one jot - the Universe is Infinite, and so much more immense than our tiny human brains can comprehend.

  49. Great tip, and good for you! A similar one if you've a wild mouse in your home (or your cat brought one in), is to lay an empty wellington/Ugg/knee .length boot flat on the floor. The mouse will likely run into it to find safety, then you just take the boot outside to a quiet, cat and hazard free area and release it. Mice are beautiful, clean little mammals, who love their babies, people should not persecute them.🐭🐭🐭
