I totally agree with you. There's room for all styles of drag, you pay your money and you take your choice as the saying goes. I guess we all have our favourites - personally, the more glamorous the better. I like to see drag that is full on va va voom, beautiful make up, sequins sparkles, lips, hips and tits - a perfect pastiche of a glamorous woman. But as I say, there is room for everyone to do their preferred thing.

Divine would have been thrilled at the slim tribute to him, he was the size of a baby elephant God love him! Seriously - couldn't they have padded up the model, he looks NOTHING WHATSOEVER like Divine! The director John Waters described Divine as 'an inflated Jayne Mansfield' which I think summed up him and his fabulous-ness perfectly! Are fat people not allowed to feature in the hallowed photo shoots of'Vanity Fair'?!

Danny La Rue was a legendary British drag queen whose peak was the sixties. He was about seven foot tall in the wig and heels and dominated the stage like an earth-bound Goddess! If you don't know him in the States, check him out. His autobiography ''From Drags To Riches' (great title huh?!) is a fantastic read - he ran a hugely successful cabaret club in London and the book describes London's swinging 'sixties and his colourful life in page-turning detail. I was lucky enough to meet him once, he was a true star in the days when celebrity meant something!
