  1. It couldn't get any harder - 4 years on, and police haven't even found a person of interest, much less arrested anyone! Sadly Libby's video footage of the killer hasn't helped cops identify him, they are as clueless in 2021 as they were at the start. 18 months ago, lead cop Supt Doug Carter said police were "one piece away" from solving it, yet there's been no break since. He's the idiot who played mind games with the murderer at a press conference, saying he was probably in the same room, "You want to know what we know, and some day you will", etc etc. Libby was a fantastic, courageous little girl, whose detective work on the case puts the Keystone Cops to shame. Thanks to their incompetence (putting out two, wildly different pictures of the suspect, among other mistakes), the case has gone cold and a dangerous child killer is still loose. Tragically, the Delphi murderer will only be caught when he kills again.

  2.  @michaeldavis6914  I've heard both things too - entirely possible sadly. I will never understand why police called off the search when it got dark. Abby and Libby were not teenage tearaways in the habit of staying out at night. They were two predictable, vulnerable, home-loving little girls, who would never return home again. I guess we'll never know if Abby initially survived the attack and could have been saved with earlier medical intervention. But if she lay there alone in the dark with the body of her friend, awaiting death, that is not a scene police want publicly known! And it could well explain why law enforcement has kept so many of the central facts of this case totally secret from day one. The scarcity of facts released into the public domain is surely unprecedented! And that surely hindered the public coming forward with information. Fact is law enforcement bungled this double murder investigation from the start. The first days after a murder are the critical ones, when evidence is clearest and the trail is hot. In prioritising secrecy, they only protected a highly dangerous child killer. The Delphi murderer will kill again - if he hasn't already. He must thank his lucky stars every day for that buffoon Doug Carter.

  3. The sketches look like a lot of men. Big woop! If cops can't catch this highly dangerous child killer when they have a photo, video and voice recording of him, sketches are irrelevant. Let's face it, 4 years on without a single suspect much less an arrest, that dumb chief cop Supt Doug Carter has bungled the investigation. As a result, there is a predatory paedophile out there emboldened by getting away with not one but two murders in broad daylight. It's not a question of if he'll kill again, but when. Doug Carter's suggestion he'll give himself up someday is ridiculous and naive. Sex killers are highly motivated, which makes them the most dangerous category of murderer. I believe it will take another crime, or crimes, for police to catch him. I pray that crime isn't a murder, but after such an audacious double homicide, there's every reason to believe it will be. My heart goes out to Libby and Abby's loved-ones. To lose them on the brink of womanhood, and in such an horrific way, is a grief beyond measure. That police have not made any progress but have actually bungled aspects of the investigation adds hugely to their burden. #JusticeForLibbyAndAbby
