  1. This is so sad. What kind of lousy marriage is that, when her husband lets her show up to work, as a nurse of all things, steaming drunk? He should have called in sick for her, so she didn't A/ Become a danger on the roads and B/ Lose the medical career she trained and worked hard for all those years. This lady's issues clearly go far beyond drinking. The booze is a symptom of some major problems in her life, which I hope she'll now address. Sometimes a harsh wake up call like this is a huge blessing in disguise!
