  1. Charming man, and superb actor - idiot interviewer! To see such immense natural gifts, plus professionalism and dedication to his craft, wrapped up in such a kind and genuinely modest character, is a very special and rare combination. Sir Christopher Lee was a real class act and a true gentleman. It's ironic he played so many Counts and noblemen, as he would himself have been a Count had the title come down his mother's Italian side of the family.

  2. I don't think Sir Christopher Lee ever overdid his villains, Count Dracula, Count Rocheforte, Scaramanga etc were all superbly understated and bone-chillingly sinister. He was a wonderful actor and towering talent - he never turned in a less than brilliant performance in anything!
