Honey Ryder I really admire your honesty, if only we were all brave enough to admit our mistakes we'd be bigger and better people for it. God bless ya darling! X

vlad iagar I admire your honesty here but can you please answer a question for me because I am genuinely puzzled - why was it that you couldn't accept someone being gay? What did another person's sexuality have to do with you, why did it bother you one way or the other? I happen to be straight but I have no interest whatsoever in other people's sexual preferences and I certainly don't like or dislike someone based on the gender of the person they choose to sleep with! I ask you this very sincerely because you don't sound like a vindictive person so I am really curious and confused as to why you, and others, can feel such hostility towards people based on their sexuality alone?

Honey Ryder Well said, I back your comments 100%.

Taurus K Why such hostility towards gay people? You seem to have decided to hate people solely based on their sexuality - that is so strange. Is your rage based on a deep psychological trauma - are you afraid that you might be gay, but you were raised by bigots to believe homosexuality was wrong? So you fear your own feelings and are compelled to reject homosexuals as a defence mechanism? Who other people choose to go to bed with is really none of your business and its certainly nothing you should let yourself get so hysterical about darling!

Taurus K Thanks for your response, which I found interesting. I didn't realise your discrimination was so indiscriminate - it seems gay people, black people, women and a few other 'categories' of people really get you upset. I don't categorise people so crudely - people are way more complicated than just their sexuality, race or gender. I'm glad it's not my style to pre-judge like that because life can spring some nice surprises if you're able to reserve judgement and get to know people before making negative assumptions about them. The groups you have singled out have historically suffered discrimination so naturally they have demonstrated and grouped together for things like 'Pride'. We don't need to go screaming 'LOOK I'M HETRO' because traditionally heterosexuals do not experience discrimination! (I doubt gay people who have the misfortune to live in Syria, Russia or Nigeria where they are routinely murdered by mobs will agree with you that they have more rights than straight people!) A heterosexual lifestyle is pushed at gay people all the time yet you think gay people 'push their ways' on us. They don't. They just don't have to hide away anymore and thank God for that because no one should have to live a lie. You make some valid points and I agree that in some cases political correctness has gone too far. But you undermine yourself by using words like 'faggot'. That reveals small-minded bigotry, which is sad for you as much as for anyone on the receiving end. Thanks again for taking the time to respond, I appreciate it.

Taurus K Please don't pre-judge me on my age! I'm probably a similar age to you and as I said before, I agree that some political correctness has gone too far, the 'parent one'/'parent two' thing is plainly ridiculous. I hope one day societies will be so inclusive that a person's sexuality, gender or race is not even an issue let alone an issue that causes friction. Sadly that day is a long way off, as human beings will always find a reason to hate other human beings. Your English is perfect by the way! I wish you wouldn't use the word fag though, it makes you sound stupid and you plainly aren't. Sending you love and positive energy - have a great week! X

Taurus K No worries honey, I know you're better than that! You know what, it's great to have an intelligent discussion with someone here, and disagree, and we're both OK with it. So much abuse in the comments section here, it gets boring. Take care and have fun!

vlad iagar I wonder how gay people feel about you? You don't sound terribly appealing to me with your tiny-minded, ignorant prejudice. Are you unaware that most victims of child abuse were abused by a heterosexual parent? Heterosexuals are guilty of all kinds of 'gross' sexual crimes and behaviours yet you reserve you hatred for gay people. What a weird messed up mind you have - I actually feel sorry for you.

vlad iagar Yet again I'm puzzled by some people's hostility towards gay people. I am straight and I have no interest whatsoever in who other people choose to sleep with, it is none of my business - neither does it affect my judgement of them one way or the other. I like or dislike people according to their character and behaviour, regardless of their sexuality, gender, ethnicity, the colour of their eyes or their music preferences! If people are kind, good hearted and care about the feelings of others, they tend to be people I like. I sincerely hope in your life you don't encounter prejudice against you, based on ridiculous reasons. Sending you my good wishes. X
