Prosecutors are working hard behind the scenes to build a strong case against Wendi Adelson. They know she's an attorney, and will hire the best defence team her late husband Dan Markel's money can buy. They must bring their A-game, and have certainly had enough time to prepare. I pray they have uncovered a killer 'Gotcha' piece of evidence against her.
There are hints of cracks developing within the Adelson family. In recent years Wendi has been keeping her brother and parents at arms length, terrified of following them to prison. I wonder how Charlie feels, knowing he will die behind bars because he was manipulated to arrange a murder by his mother and sister?
Mom Donna is facing the same horrendous penalty, and again I imagine is pretty resentful of Wendi, her only daughter, who no longer visits her parents. She and husband Harvey are now pretty much estranged from her and their two grandsons. Donna now faces leaving prison in a body bag, all because, in her eyes, she was a devoted mother who stuck her neck out to solve her daughter's 'problem'. And this is the thanks she gets - Wendi has turned her back on them, out of ruthless self-preservation.
I wonder if the anger Charlie and Donna feel towards Wendi, the family princess/golden child who pushed for and endorsed her ex husband's murder, could prompt them to turn on her, and take them down with them, either now or in the future?
Alienating them is a risky strategy by Wendi - they have the power to put her away for life, though obviously they would have to incriminate themselves to do it. But it would not be the first time the Adelson family had a huge bust up. As was mentioned in this report, eldest son Rob is estranged from them after Donna refused to respect his right to choose a non Jewish bride.
Rob recently had closed door meetings with prosecutors and may give evidence against his mother at her imminent murder trial. His evidence, giving an insider perspective on the twisted family that allegedly arranged their son-in-law's murder, would be fascinating. And what of Harvey, the Adelson family patriarch, like Wendi, named by prosecutors as a conspirator in Dan Markel's murder? Will he face justice next? There are many more gripping chapters to come in this story. But the one the public most keenly awaits, is the prosecution of Wendi.

Exactly! This sicko wanted to own his wife, to him she was merely a possession to be used and abused. Typical double standards of the narcissistic abuser, it's fine for him to disrespect her and have affairs, but he demands total obedience and devotion from her.
A woman is at highest risk of being murdered by her abuser, when she ends or threatens to end the relationship. This removes his power at a stroke, and the worst abusers may decide to take back their power in the ultimate, twisted way, by ending her life. It's the age-old 'If I can't have you, no one else will'.
How many more Anas out there right now as I type this, living miserable, frightened lives with abusers who will some day kill them? Far too many. In the UK alone, two women are killed every week by an abusive partner/ex partner. More must be done to keep women safe, and to educate men about respectful relationships (these crimes are almost exclusively male perpetrated). I believe children/teens should learn about this stuff at school, knowledge is power.

Yes, Alex Cox had planned to murder Joseph Ryan way back in 2007 when he ambushed and attacked him with a taser gun in a parking lot, where he'd come for an access visit with his then 4 year old daughter Tylee (just as 12 years later he'd murder Lori's next husband Charles Vallow, on an access visit to little JJ).
Alex later told a friend he planned to murder Joseph that day by throwing him in the trunk of his vehicle while stunned by the taser, then driving to a remote location to shoot him and dump his body. But the taser failed to fully deploy, and Joseph fled and called 911. Alex was arrested and served three months in prison for aggravated assault.
He retained a pathological hatred for Joseph Ryan, repeating Lori's slanderous lies that he'd SA'ed daughter Tylee (allegations investigated and rejected by Child Protection, who ruled Tylee had been coached to make false statements against her dad).
When Joseph's body was found in his double locked apartment in early April 2018 he'd been dead for at least a week. Advanced decomposition meant foul play could not be detected, and it was ruled a natural death. But I don't buy it for multiple reasons. Lori knew she'd benefit financially from Joseph's death, and sure enough in August 2018 she received a payment of $60,000 to her account from his life insurance policy.
Tylee immediately received around $4,000 a month in death benefits, as Joseph's only child. Lori had full access to that money and treated it as her own. The following year, one month before her murder. Lori had Tylee's benefits payments switched from her daughter's bank account, to her own. She also switched the beneficiary of her own, $2m life insurance policy to her eldest child, son Colby alone (she clearly knew Tylee and JJ wouldn't be around much longer).
I have no doubt Joseph Ryan was murdered by Alex and Lori - they have admitted as much to their brother Adam Cox. People can, and do get away with murder. The outrageous police incompetence in this case, which allowed heinous killers to get away with murder time and time again, resulted in at least three avoidable homicides. If Lori and Alex had been charged with Charles Vallow's murder as they should have been, there's every possibility Tylee and JJ, and Tammy Daybell, would still be alive today. Ironically I believe if Alex Cox had been kept behind bars, he too would be alive - because Lori and Chad would not have been able to kill him!

Agreed, Boone's home videos are truly, incredibly disturbing. She had so many chances to let Jorge out of that horrific zippered tomb, let him stretch and breathe, and let him live. But time and time again, she deliberately and determinedly chose not to free him.
This wasn't negligence, or any kind of accident. She didn't fall asleep in a drunken stupor on the couch, wake up, horrified at 5am and let him out in a panic, before immediately dialling 911 (and God knows, that would have been bad enough).
Instead, she deliberately went upstairs to bed, leaving him trapped in the suitcase totally alone in the darkness and silence, on the ground floor. And there he stayed, until finally, who knows when, death ended his suffering. He must have been utterly terrified when the awful truth hit him, that his girlfriend wasn't coming to his aid.
Sarah Boone finally got up the following lunch time and found him - dead for some time, purple in the face, with rigor mortis. And let's not forget, she had abandoned him to climb the stairs to bed, after repeatedly ignoring his pleas to free him because he couldn't breathe. It's all there on the shocking videos she made - videos that are about to destroy her outrageous 'Not Guilty' plea in court!
It's total BS she thought Jorge could release himself. She knew damn fine he could not, he told her many times, as proven by her own videos. If he could get himself out of the suitcase, why would he beg her over and over to release him? Why, with increasing desperation, would he tell her: "Sarah - I can't breathe"?
It makes no sense at all. She knew he was trapped inside that horrific, confined case, could not breathe, and had no hope of escape without her intervention. Yet she did not intervene - she went up to bed.
Boone's not guilty plea is a huge mistake. I can't wait to see her own warped decisions sink her in court. We all know what she did - thanks to her nasty little videos, we've seen her crime unfold with our own eyes (the videos alone prove her aim was to torture and humiliate her hated boyfriend).
You would not do such a sadistic, cruel thing to a dog, least of all your own partner. She deserves to die behind bars and I really hope when she's found guilty and sentenced, she does not get parole. This was murder of the most heinous and depraved kind.

@NavajoSunBeauty Hi - It wasn't my intention to appear to be arguing/disagreeing with you, I'm sorry it came over that way. I wanted to add greater context to your accurate post about the children's cause of death.
As a journalist and long time campaigner against domestic abuse, accuracy is important to me too. I'm hyper alert to the minimisation/justification of such heinous domestic crimes, which is seen with disturbing regularity in online forum comments.
I feel it's critical in a case as complex as this one people know the full story. Though even when all the facts are known, a small minority will still relate more to the perpetrator, than to the victims.
I've even seen it argued Josh Powell loved his children, and never would have killed them if only the 'poor guy' had been given full custody as was his 'right' as a father. Yes, there are people out there who argue a wife and child killer was a suitable person to have sole, unsupervised access to two little boys! The misogyny among a percentage of people runs deep. I'm British, so sadly didn't see the show, what was your verdict?

I haven't loathed a defense attorney this much ever! The disgusting, disrespectful way she addressed that brave survivor of a murderous knife attack, by her animal of a client. UGH!
I realise the justice system relies on everyone having legal representation, but when I see a lawyer like her paid handsomely to put an absolute PoS like him in a good light and demonise his victim, it makes me sick to the stomach.
I don't care if that lady drank 5 bottles of tequila and was blind, roaring, outrageously drink - her partner Matthew Terry stabbed her seven times IN THE NECK! Nothing she did explains, let alone justifies his revolting, bloody violence. It's only thanks to her incredible determination to flee the house, and the heroic work of medical experts, that saved her life.
How dare that stick-up-her-ass lawyer sneer and look down her nose at that noble survivor of an horrific, domestic murder attempt, during the cross examination? That kind of unprofessional conduct should not be allowed!

Nope, no remorse at all, and no sadness even that her boyfriend died. We saw that total lack of emotion from her on police bodycam footage, right after Jorge's death. She clearly didn't love him. From day one, her only concern was for herself!
Psychopaths lack sufficient empathy for the normal emotional reactions of healthy non-psychopaths, so they can't mimic their typical behaviours (eg crying for the deceased victim), even when it would be in their own best interests to do so. We see this in killers all the time. I'm noticing a smirk on her face a lot too - 'Duper's Delight' - because she thinks her lies are working with the jury. They aren't, she comes across as the arrogant, manipulative liar she undoubtedly is!
Boone claims to be the victim here, but she has no clue how to act like a victim - because of course she isn't one! She'd have helped her cause if she'd just cried at one point, and at least expressed some pain/sadness over Jorge's death. But she forgot to! 🤣🤣🤣
All she did to play the victim, was to portray the real victim as a villain, and blacken Jorge's character. Her performance on the stand comes across as blatantly fake and horribly self serving. She never once mentioned being scared of her boyfriend, during her first police interview four years ago. It's obviously a new explanation for her vile crime, cooked up by her and her lawyer (whose regular prompting of her on the stand, is utterly laughable).

If America's gun obsession was justified, and made sense, Amie would be alive today. Because if gun ownership worked, as the firearms lobby claims it works, she'd have made sure she carried a weapon at all times, and would have shot Gareth Pursehouse dead when he confronted her inside her home.
But Amie, like the vast majority of homicide victims, was not kept alive by a gun. And her tormentor and killer was not taken out by one, before fatally harming her. More's the pity! If only Amie were in the dock for killing HIM inside her home, a toxic abuser and would-be killer, no one would miss. She would be acquitted for sure. I would support gun ownership - if it worked, and saved good people like Amie. It doesn't.
But the fabulous, much-loved Amie is gone and the world is a lesser place.
UGH that creep is a revolting specimen, no wonder Amie wanted nothing to do with him. It's terrifying she survived her violent, abusive relationship with Pursehouse 8 years previously, yet he returned to take her life so long afterwards. He was a ticking time bomb.

The fact the doctor told police his wife gave him a back rub that day, to explain that his skin may be under her fingernails, is chilling. It suggests Mabel scratched her husband, as she tried to defend herself during his murderous attack.
That poor woman knew her husband, the father of her three children, the man she trusted and shared a home and bed with, was killing her. It's hard to imagine a more horrible and heinous betrayal.
And for what? Money - and Greed. Mabel was almost certainly about to leave him - the most common trigger for a man to murder a woman. Like so many domestic killers, Dirk Greineder chose murder over divorce, so he wouldn't have to give his wife her share of their jointly owned assets.
Their children know full well their father killed their mother. The way the daughter constantly shakes her head while defending his 'innocence', is very revealing body language! (19:55). They are still being controlled and manipulated by their narcissist father, just as he controlled and manipulated the entire family. If only poor Mabel had realised what he was capable of, and got herself to a safe, secret address to launch divorce proceedings. So many women are murdered because they make the fatal mistake of staying in a soured relationship too long - and give their abusive partner the opportunity to kill them.
