  1. Unfortunately Proctor is an entirely typical cop, there are millions of arrogant, unprofessional, shaven-headed misogynists like him on every police force the world over. His dreadful but unsurprising conduct was wrong - but it doesn't make Karen Read innocent. I've heard no evidence the dead man was beaten to death, so far the red flags point to her running him down in her car. A drunken, impulsive crime of passion, for which the wrong charges were brought.

  3. Is anyone who resides in the real world remotely surprised by this police officer's vile, misogynistic insults about Karen Read? Sadly this is how many men talk about women, with other men - in both informal, and professional settings. This kind of casual misogyny and disrespect of females by males is a global epidemic - and it thrives and spreads like wildfire in all-male/male dominated environments. Groups of men are, generally speaking, toxic, which is the innate nature of male-dominated organisations like law enforcement. God help any woman who becomes implicated in a criminal investigation, managed by mostly testosterone-fuelled male officers. Women are, again generally speaking, a civilising influence on men in the workplace. Organisations like the police would be far better run with a 50/50, male/female split of employees. But that day is a long way off!

  7.  @dz7a756  Of course it's about power - 'what is inside him', is precisely what prompted him to pursue a career in law enforcement, and to seek police powers! The evidence shows Proctor is someone who should have been weeded out of the police, for his narcissism, entitlement and misogyny are plain to see and make him a lousy cop fully willing to abuse those powers.

  8.  @ravenzyblack  I'm not defending Proctor, he's a macho, misogynist sleaze. Sadly he's very typical - of men of his generation, and of male police officers generally. However his all-too common flaws and unprofessionalism/bias do not make Karen Read innocent. For her to be innocent, there has to have been a complex conspiracy, involving planted evidence and multiple acts of skulduggery. I see no compelling evidence of that. If you do, please state it.

  9. This guy is practically a clone - you'll find shaven-headed, misogynist cave men like him in every police force around the globe. It's like these thugs are manufactured on a factory production line somewhere, they are all so alike! All of them think they are God's gift to womankind, and have the right to stand in judgement on women - primarily on their looks, obviously, as they value females primarily on how sexually attractive they are.
