Unbelievably stupid to casually assume he won't die locked in a tiny suitcase ALL NIGHT. I think she had to know it was a possibility. At the very best interpretation, she didn't care if he survived the night. What a horrible way to die!

There's another clip with him in the suitcase and she's saying something like "That's how it feels when you abuse me". I thought she was going to go with a battered wife type defense. Bearing in mind she is clearly taunting him on the cellphone footage, I think presenting herself as an abuse victim is her best chance of winning jury sympathy. That's the way I would advise her to play it if I were her defense attorney!

@stuckindicouch A year later and we're just seeing all the police footage of this murderer. Turns out she wasn't smart enough to push the 'domestic abuse victim' defence I suggested in my first post. She just told cops over and over: "It wasn't intentional". Like locking your partner in a suitcase and goading him while he tells you he can't breathe and begs to be let out - then going to bed and sleeping for 11 hours was any kind of accident! Most shocking of all, was her total lack of grief or emotion about her boyfriend's death. They'd been together 4 years, and however it happened - he just died. Her only concern was for herself. She really thought she was getting away with this, she was genuinely shocked at the end of her interrogation when they slapped the cuffs on her! She's staring down the barrel of a life sentence - and I'm delighted for her little boy. He does not need a toxic narcissist like that in his life!

@ReenieG1UK Good God! I didn't know she had previously done a similar suitcase trick on a child. Regarding the domestic abuse defence - please don't misunderstand me, I'm not for one second suggesting she is any kind of victim. I'm thinking purely in legal terms, and how she/her lawyers could build the best defence in such hopeless circumstances. It's hard to imagine, as she well and truly effed herself with that damning home video of herself, terrorising that poor man. Her actions are exposed as ruthless, sentient, and 100% premeditated. It makes every decent person's blood run cold to watch it, knowing we are hearing some of desperate George's last words. She is a monster. My understanding from her ex husband (the father of her child), is there was a history of domestic allegations by her against Georges, as well as vice versa. So in theory that would provide some foundation for her to claim a 'battered spouse' defence.

@spiritwalker9903 Absolutely - I feel Sarah Boon is a highly dangerous woman, who should not have a regular role in any child's life, least of all unsupervised access to a minor! If she's capable of such ruthless, premeditated cruelty/torture on a boyfriend, who knows what she's capable of doing to a defenceless little boy? Thank God she'll be safely locked up in jail, I hope he can forget about her and move on with his life. She is beyond toxic!
