The prosecutor isn't the most eloquent. Why does she keep saying a victim was "...covered in a pool of blood"? You're either 'covered in blood', or 'laying in a pool of blood'. No one's 'covered in a pool of blood', that's incorrect phraseology!

@lisas8244 Exactly! Very poor standards that the DA let that slip through! I must say at her educational level, she should know better than to use a dumb phrase like that which is neither correct nor common usage! Her opening speech doesn't bode well for the prosecution's performance in this trial. Also - did you notice that weird little giggle she gave when she mentioned a detective by name, and said he'd be joining her at the prosecutors' table to give his evidence? It was really inappropriate, like she had a schoolgirl crush on him and couldn't help breaking into a grin at the mere mention of his name! Either it is just an unrequited crush, or she's sleeping with him - it will be interesting to get a look at him and their body language when he appears!

There's ample evidence against him actually - casings found at his home, plus the same clothes the attacker wore on CCTV, and bags of circumstantial evidence too. I don't think there's much doubt he did it. But having seen that feeble prosecution opening speech, there's a ton of doubt about what kind of show they'll put on for the jury! Lord that woman's presentation was lousy - she couldn't sell me dollar donuts for a cent!

I know - that creepy little giggle she did at the mention of the cop's name, like he's a celebrity, totally inappropriate! She either has a crush, or she's banging him. She's not an impressive speaker, I have to say - very girly and lightweight. You nailed it - like a schoolgirl doing a class presentation! That's the prosecutor I want if I ever commit multiple murders!

@squarehammer4619 Glad it made you smile, I just made it up - yes, I really am that brilliant, lol!

Exactly right! Some murders don't have a motive that makes sense to a non-psychopath! It's good to read an intelligent comment here, along with the predictable "I don't think he did it", and "the cops framed him" bullcrap you always read on murder cases. I just hope those idiots never get to sit on a jury!

Yep, I reckon he did it too - look at his body language in court. That is not an innocent man, wrongly accused. He's guilty AF! I reckon one victim was the target due to a grudge, the others were killed as witnesses. Should be an interesting trial.

@lisas8244 LMFAO!!! I just mentioned this point to you in another thread! I'm dying to get a look at this guy now, I'm imagining a guy with movie star looks - but he'll probably be some scrawny geek she thinks is hot!
4
Huh? What makes you think he's innocent? Sounds like you're more 'Dumbo' than 'Columbo', lol!

I agree, sloppy presentation by Court TV. It would be so helpful if they gave the basic facts - eg defendant's name - in the title.

@aliciareyna4342 I don't look for conspiracy theories in every damn thing, nor am I a dumb armchair detective with no knowledge of the law, who thinks I know better than the police! There are always way too many of those types commenting. I hope in the name of common sense and justice, there are none sitting on this jury!

@moreofawave Me too - Lord, that serial killer was the stuff of nightmares, I couldn't get him off my mind for a while after watching a documentary, he took evil to a whole new level! And he has a daughter somewhere, poor girl. It's mind boggling he claimed to love his child, yet could commit such atrocities on someone else's daughter. Kind of infuriating Keys was able to kill himself and escape justice. But he's the most dangerous murderer of all - highly motivated to kill, for no other reason but the thrill of killing. As you say, to that kind of offender every other human being is a potential victim, so I'm glad he's off the planet and can never hurt anyone again.

@aliciareyna4342 What are you wittering on about? I'm not shouting from the rooftops this is an innocent man wrongly accused, a miscarriage of justice by corrupt police, etc etc, when the trial's barely got started! Tell it to those fools.

He's up there due to one word - Evidence. He wouldn't have been charged with multiple murders on no evidence! Everyone's an armchair detective these days - and everyone knows better than the actual cops who investigated the crime. Hilarious!

@nadagabri5783 The trial only just started! Haven't you watched any analysis of the case yet? There's plenty to be found.

There has to be an element of killing witnesses here. One person was the target, the others were collateral damage because they could identify him.
2
LMAO! Agreed, I think he should be jailed for the face alone!
