Oh she is magnificent! Entirely possible it's Simone's first baby-girl, Luca - what a tantalising thought! Whoever she/he is, there is certainly no lack of food in their life, thank God. She's a chunkster alright - Oh to get a blissful bear hug from that big, beautiful fur-covered, chocolate marshmallow. I wouldn't even care if she killed me, I would die happy!
I love how chilled and peaceful she is. The way she looks up at you, fully aware of your presence, and so relaxed. She knows you're her friend. Heart-melting!
These family trees are just so fascinating aren't they? And you get to be part of the family - at least, part of the maps each of them holds in their minds of nice places to go, and loving friends. What a privilege. Thank you for sharing! Much love from the UK. XXX

She's either pregnant or a nursing mother, God bless her - when she stood up at the start of the video, you could see her teats. That will explain why she's out looking for food in daytime. I hope Patrick can provide her with a few healthy snacks every day. Dried cat and dog food is very good (contains a wide amount of essential vitamins and minerals), as long as they have access to water.
Raw brocolli is especially good for nursing moms, due to its high calcium content - they go crazy for it! Raccoons also benefit from cut-up apple, pears, peaches, plums, apricots and many other such fruits.
Protein like small pieces of cheddar cheese, peanut butter spread onto anything, eggs raw or hard boiled, are wonderful sources. I appreciate Patrick won't necessarily want to encourage raccoons, but this hungry mama deserves a little support.
