I'm not convinced a sick, pitiful excuse for a man who terrorised, brutalised and murdered defenceless women is worthy of any kind of respect. Though I'd have liked to see the cop shake him warmly by the throat.

What fictionalised movie could be as compelling as the real footage from the interrogation room? Seeing a psychopath in action is fascinating as is witnessing this superb detective reeling him in - seeing an actor playing one, not so much. It's like the Chris Watts family murders. People are speculating there could be a movie made, because it's such a high profile case. But the reason it has captured the public's imagination is that there is so much REAL footage of this family, the victims - pregnant Shanann and her two adorable little girls Balla and Cece - and their evil killer, husband and father Chris Watts. All that social media video Shanann posted of the family at home, means we feel like we know these people and their seemingly perfect life. It makes the tragedy feel personal to us - and more shocking for it. Actors playing the Watts family would not have even half of that impact.

jklo6677 Nope that's American non-logic and the reason the US has so many gun deaths every year. Statistically, if you own a gun you are more, not less likely to be a victim of gun crime. It's common sense! Better locks and home security measures is the answer, especially for women living alone. I have iron grilles over my windows and iron gates at all my exterior doors and when I'm home they are always locked. So I can open the front door and talk to the person while the exterior iron gate stays locked and stops anyone coming in.

I remember hearing that poor Jessica, who this sick freak held captive and terrorised for 24 hours before murdering her, asked him to please tell her Mom she loved her. Imagine her poor mother's agony at hearing that? Knowing how her daughter suffered and that she couldn't help her - the pain for their loved ones is unimaginable. The interrogator did a good job but frankly any cop would have done just as well because the evidence against Williams was overwhelming - he was cornered like a rat in a trap! His confession was surely down to the evidence, not the cop who told him about it.
