Oh she is magnificent! Entirely possible it's Simone's first baby-girl, Luca - what a tantalising thought! Whoever she/he is, there is certainly no lack of food in their life, thank God. She's a chunkster alright - Oh to get a blissful bear hug from that big, beautiful fur-covered, chocolate marshmallow. I wouldn't even care if she killed me, I would die happy!
I love how chilled and peaceful she is. The way she looks up at you, fully aware of your presence, and so relaxed. She knows you're her friend. Heart-melting!
These family trees are just so fascinating aren't they? And you get to be part of the family - at least, part of the maps each of them holds in their minds of nice places to go, and loving friends. What a privilege. Thank you for sharing! Much love from the UK. XXX

Bravo! A fantastic way to get a free, bonus meal from your roast/rotisserie chicken carcass!
Nothing more delicious and nutritious than home made chicken soup (or broth, if you prefer a clear, chunk-free end result). I love this made as a clear chicken broth, with fresh baked baguette slices from the local bakery to dip - spread with real, salted English/Irish/Scottish butter, of course. YUM - and so filling!
Home made soup's also great to use up those last few veggies in the fridge, past their best - eg carrot, celery, onion, scallions, garlic, leeks, red/yellow peppers, and frozen veg too like petit pois (peas), carrots and broad beans.
If you want a thicker, more satisfying soup, add chunks of raw potato with all the other ingredients and after cooking, use a blender to puree it. You won't be hungry again for ages!
