  1. This whole topic boils down to some relatively simple steps. Step 1: Buy any combination of cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or copper cookware. Step 2: Learn how to cook properly with your chosen cookware. Step 3: Stop pretending that having to scrub the occasional pan is some kind of oppressive act. Most of any stuck on food can be boiled off in a few minutes, anyway. It's called deglazing and everyone who knows how to cook knows it works for cleanup, as well as making sauces.
