  1. No. Beyond and Impossible may have gotten close to tasting like McDonald's or Burger King but they were far from tasting like a real burger. It's not actually hard to make something taste like junk food. Cardboard, salt, and a vague, artifical smoke flavor will give you a plant-based patty that tastes like fast food.
