Here's my takeaway: I wouldn't be wearing one of these because, well, I'd like to actually be able to see if I were in a fight. Meanwhile, the basic principles of combat still stand. If someone is attacking you while wearing one of these, you don't need to be able to kill them. You only need to incapacitate them enough to end the threat. shoot for the face mask and you're going to take out the eyes, break the nose/jaw, crack the skull, etc. They're pretty well done fighting and even if not, they're not seeing straight. You now have time to put rounds in the side/back of their head as they're trying to get their bearings.
