  1. THe thing is, they can never stop the problem with a gun ban. Throughout history, the majority of gun crime is perpetrated using the most common, affordable guns that suit the purpose. The Supreme Court has ruled that you can't ban guns in common use. That means that you can't ban the guns that are actually used for most gun crime (it's also why this ban will be overturned, if passed). It's time for everyone to point this out, in all public forums. Banning the Honda Civic won't stop people from driving drunk. It will just mean that they'll do so in Toyota Corollas more often.
