This is ridiculous. Not just the reactions but the prank, itself. I'm so sick of the partisan crap seeping into everything. The Christmas Norad bit isn't supposed to be political. I hate Joe Biden. The man is a dangerous putz. That has nothing to do with Christmas. And no, I don't really care if "B-b-but they did it first!" So what? That was an asinine excuse when we were children and it still is today.
