  1. Wanna see a major shift in thinking about "universal healthcare?" Tell the working class that it will reduce their nice, chunky, yearly tax return by up to half. A lot of people count the minutes until they can get their hands on that money. They put off major expenditures (like vehicle and appliance repair/replacement) as long as possible because until that refund hits the bank, they simply can't afford it. "You get 'free' health insurance but in exchange, you're walking to work for the foreseeable future" doesn't exactly sound like a good trade to most people.
