@Katya_Lastochka Nice strawman. Did you make it yourself or did you order it from a farm supply? As for the bulk of your comment, yes. I do happen to know quite a few breeders in the US and a couple in the UK. It's really not hard to do. All you have to do is visit a few expos and join a few groups online and bam; you're part of the reptile community. Maybe you should try it out. You'd be surprised at how much better they treat their animals than the people in this video. And your quip about "starting at the bottom" is moronic, at best. I'm starting at the bottom and I don't mistreat my snakes. What does starting at the bottom have to do with understanding that driving sewing needles through an animal's face is harmful? My kids have known better than that since they were toddlers but these adults are supposed to get a pass? Not likely. Troll harder next time. This was just sad.

Kosal Yous It sounds like you think people shouldn't call out cruelty when they see it because other cruelty exists. That's a terrible argument. The existence of bull riding does not justify sewing snakes' mouths shut. You may think it's futile to speak out against wrong-doing in the world but that simply means you're ignoring all of the times when doing so has created change. If you see it, call it out. You may not make a difference but someone else might hear you who will.

@xena6343 I love it when children respond to my comments. You can always tell they're children by the blatant naiveté in their statements. Like claiming that I should donate to people who do something so fundamentally wrong, in hopes that they'll magically see the error of their ways. Or that the only way these "simple farmers" could possibly manage to keep the snakes from eating their eggs is to drive needles and thread through their mouths, repeatedly. It couldn't be that there's a fundamental lack of concern for the welfare of the animals, right? No, that couldn't be. People never treat animals badly in a factory farm environment unless they absolutely have to... Please, stay in school and then go out and get some life experiences. Come back in ten years and tell me all about how you still give these people the benefit of the doubt.

@xena6343 And there it is. You berate me for my opinion about animal abusers. I respond in kind and then you try to play the victim. Sorry kid but you chose to engage someone on an open forum. Out here in the real world, if you swing first, you're not the victim. A person with empathy does not abuse animals, just as a person with empathy does not abuse children. Making excuses for such behavior is reprehensible. If a given culture accepts such disgusting practices then the culture is wrong, along with those who perpetuate it. "They don't know any better" isn't a good excuse for slavery, pedophilia, animal abuse, or any of the other atrocities people commit. It's really that simple. These people do not care that they are stabbing animals in the face to help them achieve financial success. They are no better than the people who stab bulls before a bullfight, or the ones who throw "bait dogs" to their pitbulls to train them to kill. As for my comment's weight on the situation, I have no illusions that the people in this video will read it, nor that they would change their behavior if they did. The video's comment section exists so that people can (wait for it) post their comments about the video. Nothing more. I did exactly that: I relayed my opinion after seeing the video. You're the one who applied false motives to my statement. You know what happens when you assume, right?
