@DragoonEnNoir But it is 100% true. The NRA offers gun safety courses around the Country and free gun safety information on their website. It's a verifiable fact.

What's with the anchor? Just because somebody carries a gun, it doesn't mean they're violent or short fused. "Ooh, you don't want to leave a bad tip, hur dur!" Moron.

@DragoonEnNoir You're right. They also pretend to stand for gun rights and then stand back and watch whenever they're actually needed. They've been doing it for a very long time. The NFA, the Hughes amendment, the '94 AWB...all done with the NRA standing idly by. They're very good at making themselves look like they're doing something (like recently piggy-backing a lawsuit that other gun rights organizations had already put in all the legwork for) but when it comes down to getting things done, they're a joke. The only people who think they're doing any good for gun rights are shills and dupes. Fortunately, there are plenty of dupes on the other side of the debate who keep their sights on the NRA, while the real gun rights groups have time to grow.
