For sexual assault. Wonder why he was pulling people over and seeing what they look like before driving off?
245
@discofever14 That's an adolescent mentality.
56
They seemed to fit their roles pretty well. Evil Fred was driving, while evil Shaggy and Scooby rode in the back, smoking up and munching Scooby Snacks.
44
This is why I love my dogs. A drunk tried this one night. I turned the dogs out. The guy made it back over the (locked) gate that he climbed over to get into the yard, but just barely.
20
No, sir! There is no blood in my alcohol stream!
9
@awfan221 What made you feel the nedd to explain that the "good guys" in your story were immigrants and the "bad guys" were white boys? Just curious.
6
Nah, you've got it all wrong. Hunter = Fred Brady = Shaggy Alex = Scooby
6
He's out on cash bond. He's not off the streets.
6
@komrel To me it felt like a modern telling of Scooby Doo. You had angry Fred, all dressed to the nines, driving. Shaggy and Scooby were in the back, munching their Scooby Snacks. They were even driving a really weird looking vehicle that's easy to identify.

@blznft9513 It's just too bad that the cops aren't the ones who will pay for the lawsuit. Instead, we, the taxpayers will get to pay for their screw up.
3
@MadFox-jr6by Sure buddy. Teach your kids not to talk to strangers and then give them a phone or a tablet and let them have social media accounts. The majority of what anyone does on the Internet is interact with strangers. We're doing so, right now.
3
@7thwardlord181 The problem wasn't the lack of explanation. It was trying to walk away while being detained. Nobody has a duty to explain anything to the police. If the man had sat there long enough, saying nothing, the police still would have found the actual perpetrators. He shouldn't have escalated but he didn't owe the police anything.
3
Meanwhile, somewhere out there are two or more "friends" who went out drinking with this idiot, watched him get sh*t-faced, and them let him wander out into the world. Great "friends."
2
I love people who try to tell cops how things are gonna go in court.
2
@Michelle-rdz17 lol are you offended by people asking questions or something 😂 See? You're not the only one who can say stupid things with terribly formed sentences - though, I assume it's easier for you than most.
2
This is the kind of guy who makes me want to call the suicide hotline...to place an order.
2
I'm not drunk. Can I blow?! Can I blow?! Lemme blow! Some people think she was asking to take a breathalyzer. Others suspect that she was hoping to have the same arrangement with this "newbie" cop that she has with the rest of the police force. You be the judge.
2
She talks a lot for someone with a "broken jaw."
1
Wait. You're telling me a college banned pepper spray? A college. The place voted "Most Likely Location of a Rape" banned the primary weapon women use to defend themselves? Great school. I definitely wouldn't send my daughter there.
1
"Push it in! Push it in! Push it in!" You're going to be very popular around the cell block.
1
Ah, he familiar sound of "All other charges were dismissed." Yep. God forbid people be held accountable for their actions. We wouldn't want that, or they might learn something and stop screwing up.
1
@shootcreations713 I know you've only ever been read your rights after being arrested but I promise, you still have all your rights before that point. The only thing that man did wrong was try to walk away after being told he was detained. The fact that so many people think we live in a Police State - wherein people have no rights once an officer approaches them - is pretty disgusting. I love my Country and I expect those who serve it to honor the oath they swear to our constitution. Trampling people's rights under the banner of justice is injustice.

I mean, she admitted to being underage (19) and drinking. She admitted she had a fake ID. Then she obstructed them. Plenty of reason to book her and throw her in the drunk tank with her friend. What's the problem?
1
Dude! Shaggy, Scooby, and Fred have really stupid evil twins! But their Mystery Machine is one funny looking POS.
1
@michael_c2 Cool story.
1
I always find it odd when people say things like "We were trick-or-treating, so yeah, I got pretty drunk." How is it normal to get drunk while walking around a neighborhood with your kids? There are better ways to hydrate. Have people never heard of Gatorade?
1
@User..370 Not true. The cops who attacked the innocent family were there separately. The ones who found the kids in the bathroom showed up after, doing their own random search for the suspects. The cops in the bathroom didn't even know what was going on with the cops who like to pepper spray children. Different groups.
1
Wouldn't it be crazy if it turned out there was more than one guy with that name, in the whole world, and this guy was one of them? This cop didn't happen to be wrong but my God, was that some flimsy evidence. "A guy with that name, who has a record, doesn't look like you, therefore that is not your name" is a wild take. Sincerely, The one and only Jeff Smith who could possibly exist on Earth...apparently

Did Mr. Bad@ss Gen Z just say he was going to have a panic attack? I thought you were tough, homie. Just couldn't help but go back to what TikTok taught you and act like a victim, could you? Mmm...the TikTok is strong in this one.
1
"Women over-exaggerate everything!" Meanwhile, his woman is busy downplaying everything.
1
@xord1946 Are you really trying to compare consensual sex between two adults to a grown man taking advantage of an underage girl? Found the Pedo, I guess. The laws exist for a reason. Some Countries care about protecting children from predators. Others are totally fine with kids being used as receptacles. I don't feel the existence of the latter means that morality should be abandoned.
1
@ClarkFalwell-dk1hh Tell me you've never been to a Waffle House without saying you've never been to a Waffle House.
1
Don't feel bad, honey. They never comply when I ask for a female, either.
1
@jerrymarcin5343 Like when the dad tried to "flee" to the bathroom to change his son's diaper? What a bastard, right? He should have known that he isn't allowed to change diapers while being black and nearby. I mean, some white woman decided they looked nervous and called the cops on them, so clearly, that's plenty of reason to pepper spray someone while they're eating at a restaurant.
1
"You're in a public place. I can take pictures of you." I mean, there are laws against taking pictures of people in public bathrooms, so...
1
Felony hit and run, and she didn't think she would get arrested? It wouldn't matter if she was stone-cold sober. She's absolutely getting arrested for that one.
1
@rodentgirl Dan Capone is obviously the type who likes underage girls. You can always tell their kind because they're quick to jump in to defend other pedos. If there had been an actual girl involved, he'd be calling age of consent laws arbitrary and saying that he thinks 15 is old enough to consent to sex. Go through enough of these comments sections and you start seeing the patterns pop up, a lot. It's actually pretty scary how many of them are bold enough to basically admit to being pedos.
1
There always has been. The scary part is that they're actually starting to make headway.
1
@stankatbarrell9878 Never heard of groups like NAMBLA, huh? That's okay. Lots of people talk about things they know nothing about. You're not unique in this regard.
1
Why would they do it any different? If they keep her locked up, it costs the State money. If they keep letting her bond out and violate, they make money, hand over fist. I'm sorry, did you think the criminal justice system existed to punish criminals and make society safer?! Ha! No. It exists to monetize the behavior of a subset of society. People like her don't contribute to society by paying taxes in any meaningful amount. Instead, she pays regular installments to the court.
1
This officer likely would have let her off with a warning if she had just acted like a person.
1
The death penalty would be more humane. A) they can't re-offend and B) they don't have to deal with the beatings, persecution, and the business end of a shotgun if I ever catch them near my kids. It's a win-win!
