  1. Why would they do it any different? If they keep her locked up, it costs the State money. If they keep letting her bond out and violate, they make money, hand over fist. I'm sorry, did you think the criminal justice system existed to punish criminals and make society safer?! Ha! No. It exists to monetize the behavior of a subset of society. People like her don't contribute to society by paying taxes in any meaningful amount. Instead, she pays regular installments to the court.
