  1. If the Democrats want to win in 2020, they have to choose a truly moderate candidate. Someone who makes those deep in either camp look like an extremist. The majority of people choose a party but neither party fully represents the majority of people. Someone who is reasonable and level-headed has a chance of winning in the next election. An extreme Leftist does not. That being said, I'm not sure they even know what a moderate looks like at this point.
