  2. David Dyess You'd have to be REALLY good with a bump-fire to get the shot consistency he was getting for as long as he was shooting. Most people can't get through a 30 round mag consistently and this guy had to be running 50-100 round mags/drums to get the length of fire he was pulling. I highly doubt NBC's claims. It sounded a lot more like he was using a "gat crank" on his trigger.

  4. Earthwalker40 I'd also clarify that the tank you could buy would not have a working cannon or gun turret. Those would have to be disabled. However, as to your main point, people with enough money can get whatever they want in any Country. That's not unique to the US. Money is power. Once you cross certain monetary thresholds, laws become more like suggestions. That is, in fact, why the NFA was penned in this way. It was to keep the working and middle classes from having things without prohibiting the rich. At the time, a $200 tax stamp for a suppressor or SBR was astronomical. No provision was put in place for inflation, so now it's chump change. An avid shooter can spend that much on ammo over the weekend. Anyway, just wanted add a couple more of my cents. Carry on.

  5. Earthwalker40 Oh, I know. I wasn't implying at all that it would be overly difficult to reconstitute its firing capabilities. Simply that it's illegal. Most laws are only upheld by the conscience of the individual.
