So, as usual, if you want a good compact truck, buy a used one, spend a little money on making it like new, spend a little more to add lockers front and rear, save a total of probably $10,000+, and end up with a better truck all-around. I liked the Maverick a lot when it came out. It was a good deal when it came out. Ford rapidly upped the price, so that the only way to call it a good deal now is by comparing it to all of the other massively inflated new truck prices out there. It's nonsense that relies on the general population being ignorant. Sadly...they seem to be.
