  1. A) California has way too many people. Even without climate change, it's not sustainable. B) Grocery stores toss out literal tons of food every year. So much food goes to waste, even now. We don't actually need California's agriculture. It could all stop tomorrow and we'd still have plenty of food. C) Is California going to use its $200,000,000,000 over taxing (ahem) "surplus" to pay for this pipeline...or expect the Federal government to pay for it? I wouldn't worry too much. By the time people are done fleeing from California's insane policies and the politicians bully out the farmers after buying up their water rights, you and the few people left will have plenty of water.
